  4. This toolkit contains the following utilities which run on Windows NT.

  6.         WAISINDEX
  7.         WAISLOOK
  8.         WAISSERV
  9.  
  10. The ZIP file wt<CPU_TYPE>.zip contains the following files:
  11.         WAISINDX.EXE    The WAISINDEX program.
  12.         WAISLOOK.EXE    The searching program.
  13.         WAISSERV.EXE    The Z39.50 searching program.
  14.         WAISTOOL.DOC    The manual in Word for Windows format.
  15.         WAISTOOL.WRI    The manual in Windows Write format.
  16.         WAISTOOL.PS     The manual, in postscript ready for printing.
  17.         READ.ME         Summary of new features, etc.
  18. where CPU_TYPE could be I386 for Intel CPU, ALPHA for DEC Alpha CPU, and MIPS for
  19. MIPS CPU.

  21. Source for these utilities, which are based on freeWAIS 0.3, is
  22. available in WTSOURCE.ZIP.

  27. * Bug fixed: when indexing files in current directory with "-r" option and
  28.   wildcard, the WAISINDEX caused "Application Error".

  30. * WAISLOOK will return a more sensible error message for non-existing

  36. * Bug fixed: when indexing some long line HTML files, the WAISINDEX caused
